Holi – The festival of colors
e1n:
Somehow I managed to compile my old sketches together to make a book.
“LINES” is a collection of my sketches, both original and fanart. The book will be 40 pages thick, printed on aged newsprint, and will be sold for $10 at cons this summer starting at Fanime this weekend.
I’m only printing a limited number of these. If there are leftovers, I will be selling them online after cons end, so probably around July. I’m not reprinting this book as I want a new book of sketches next year. God knows I have enough sketches to fill up several books.
On Saturday, journalist Laurie Penny and I were drinking tea and talking about making something together. The next day she took the 17-hour Occupy Wall Street busride down to Chicago, to cover the #noNato protests. Laurie sent me snaps of her busmates: kids who were singing Disney songs as they prepared to be beaten and arrested. So I drew them.

No people were harmed in the making of my Moleskine. Disgruntled maybe, but not harmed.

This is not for children this is for me.
